Reading a session on your iPhone now tells your Mac about it. The orange attention cue clears everywhere the moment you open the session, on every paired device, instead of stubbornly glowing until you clicked the bubble on the Mac.

Under the hood this release teaches the remote protocol to evolve safely. Your Mac now announces what it can do when a phone connects, and newer phones only use features your Mac actually supports. Mismatched versions between the Mac app and the phone app degrade gracefully instead of dropping the connection.

Update the iOS app to 1.1.4 or later to get the full effect. Older phone versions keep working exactly as before.
