Orb 1.26.0: the composer keeps up and keeps your draft
Typing in the Ask Claude composer stays instant, even with very long pasted prompts. A keystroke used to redraw the whole dock; now it touches only the field itself.
Composing
- Typing in the Ask Claude composer stays instant, even with very long pasted prompts. A keystroke used to redraw the whole dock; now it touches only the field itself.
- Your draft survives a dismissal. Close the dock mid thought (Escape, the hot key, or clicking away), summon Orb again, and the composer comes back with your text and your profile choice. Committing, picking a session, or opening Settings still starts fresh next time.
The dock
- The session actions (new, running, Settings) now float on a slab of Liquid Glass at the foot of the column. Rows scroll beneath it and read softly frosted through the glass.
Onboarding
- The final step now says "Apply Best Practices" when Claude Code is selected, because that is what it does.
